It is being reported that there are a lot of Walgreens stores that have put their Glad Fragrance Collection candles on clearance for $1.59 each. Apparently the Earthly Awakening and the Mcintosh Apple fragrances have been the ones spotted; these are in the 2 oz jars.
There is a current sale going so that you can earn Register Rewards! Buy 2, earn $3 RR. Buy 4, earn $5 RR.
So, the best way to do this is in multiple transactions. Just remember that you cannot roll the RR onto the next purchase of the same item or you will not receive the next RR.
Scenario
Buy 2 Glade candles for $3.19 (not including tax).
Use $3/2 IP (internet printable) found HERE. (Use the refresh button to print 2 per computer)
Pay $.19 OOP and get a $3 RR.
You can repeat this as many times as you have coupons!!
To make the deal even sweeter, right now there is a rebate going on with SC Johnson. If you purchase 3 SC Johnson products (including Glade), you get back a $5 MIR. You can submit up to three of these per household. The deal doesn't expire until 7/30/10!!
All of this being said, if you purchase 6 of these (in 3 different transactions), you will pay $.57 OOP, get back $9 in RR and two $5 MIR!! You will make $18.43 on this deal! WOW! Now that is something to get excited about!
